About Chisai Pet and Vet Care
 

Every meaningful journey begins with a story. Ours began with Dr. Ni Putu Yuni Artini, a devoted animal lover who turned her passion for pets into a lifelong commitment to veterinary care.

Dr. Yuni studied Veterinary Medicine at Udayana University in Denpasar, Bali, graduating in 2008. With a special focus on the care and well-being of dogs and cats, she has dedicated her career to helping pets live healthier, happier lives while supporting the people who love them.

Why “Chisai”?

The name Chisai comes from the Japanese word meaning small or tiny. But for us, it carries a much more personal meaning.

Chisai is also the name of Dr. Yuni’s youngest dog, a playful Pug and French Bulldog mix—small in size, full of personality, wonderfully mischievous, and deeply loved.

In many ways, that spirit reflects who we are.

Since 2014, Chisai Pet & Vet Care has been caring for pets from our small and welcoming clinic tucked away in an alley in the Kuta area of Bali. We may have started small, but our purpose has always been much bigger: to provide compassionate, thoughtful, and honest veterinary care while bringing comfort and happiness to pets and the people who consider them family.

Over the years, we have shared many moments with our clients and their beloved companions—smiles and laughter, relief and happiness, difficult decisions, and sometimes tears. These experiences remind us that veterinary care is not simply about treating an animal. It is also about understanding the bond between pets and their families.

From our very first day, we have kept our approach simple: care with honesty, compassion, and heart.

Because before we are veterinary professionals, we are pet owners too.
